JAKARTA, iNews.id – Miss Indonesia 2025 Audrey Bianca successfully secured a spot in the Top 40 of Miss World 2026, marking a proud journey while representing Indonesia on the global beauty stage.

Her performance at the event held in Vietnam earned appreciation from the public and her fellow Miss Indonesia peers. Audrey's journey to this point is widely considered inspiring.

Audrey’s path to becoming Indonesia's representative at Miss World 2026 did not come easily. She underwent various preparations, ranging from communication skills development, modeling, and makeup training, to numerous coaching sessions to ensure she appeared confident before the world.

Miss Indonesia Bangka Belitung 2024, Imelda Laurentsia, expressed her pride in watching Audrey's efforts throughout the Miss World 2026 series of events. According to her, Audrey's achievement is the result of the hard work and sincerity she dedicated throughout the competition.

"I am extremely proud of Audrey Bianca and the team that supported her during the quarantine there. Regardless of the outcome, Audrey has given the best she possibly could," Imelda said when interviewed by iNews.id after a Miss World watch party at Aloft by Marriott, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, on Saturday (Sept 5, 2026).

"Everything came from the heart, crafted by truly remarkable hands. In short, whatever the result, Audrey remains a winner in all of our hearts," she added.

Imelda also revealed the lengthy process Audrey went through before stepping onto the Miss World stage. Various training sessions were conducted to build her skills and confidence as a beauty queen.

"Behind the scenes, which many people don't know, Audrey studied a lot. From attending classes, learning makeup, public speaking, to modeling, until finally tonight and over the past month she was able to give her best for all of us. And that is incredibly something to be proud of," she explained.

For Imelda, Audrey’s growth during her preparation up to her appearance on the Miss World stage has been a deeply moving experience. She views Audrey as someone who continuously evolves and successfully proves her quality as Indonesia's representative.

"We are quite moved seeing her struggles and her growth, it’s like watching a younger sister grow up. And then suddenly she performs tonight so stunningly. To Audrey, we love you! We are so, so, so proud of you! When you return here, we will welcome you with the warmest hugs," Imelda said.

Audrey's Journey in Beauty with a Purpose

Appreciation also came from Miss Indonesia Yogyakarta 2024, Clarita Cahya Adity. She stated that Audrey's journey from the initial quarantine to the final night demonstrated extraordinary dedication and commitment.

"We are truly proud of what Audrey has accomplished because we have seen her efforts from the early quarantine days up to the final night today; everything she did was fully maximized and totally committed," Clarita noted.

"So whatever the outcome, it's just a bonus and, yes, congrats to Audrey for successfully representing Indonesia at Miss World 2026," Clarita said.

One highlight of her journey was Audrey's involvement in the Beauty with a Purpose humanitarian project in Kampung Latepalolo. During the project's preparation, Audrey suffered a leg injury.

However, this condition did not dampen her spirit. She managed to recover and resume her responsibilities, successfully bringing the social mission to the Miss World stage.

"The efforts of Audrey and all Miss Indonesias are certainly done wholeheartedly. Especially since there are so many things Audrey had to do, all requiring hard work. From having to go to Kampung Latepalolo for Beauty with a Purpose, to even injuring her leg during preparation, yet she managed to rise again and successfully represent Indonesia well at Miss World. That is a struggle we deeply appreciate," Clarita expressed.

For Clarita, Audrey's experience proves that the journey of an Indonesian representative at an international pageant is not merely about competition results. It involves hard work, resilience, social awareness, and courage.

"My message to Audrey: keep your spirits up! Because you have given your best, you have done everything you could, and whatever the result, as I said earlier, is just a bonus. And everything you do is really amazing and makes me proud," Clarita concluded.
